2006 - 2007

  • Received certification to perform HIV testing
  • Received $10,000.00 grant from the National Library of Medicine
  • Raised $4,000 in through ODRC’s first Silent Auction.
  • Participated in the “Business Expo” at Virginia State University
    ODRC purchased its first van in order to better serve the needs of the community thru transportation
  • Conducted several HIV/AIDS classes that addressed prevention, education, and accessing HIV/AIDS information
  • Networked with several officials within the city and Washington, DC in order to secure the sustainability of ODRC
