ODRC is establishing a library of resources and reference materials for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The public is welcome to use our materials, as well. Our library will focus on the following topics and areas of interest:

  • Youth and HIV/AIDS
  • Testing and counseling
  • Advocacy initiative for women of color
  • Listings of Virginia-area support groups for target populations
  • Listings of organizations and services focused on jobs, housing, health care and other social services
  • National listing of partnership networks on HIV/AIDS
  • Information for former prisoners living with HIV/AIDS
  • Information on Hepatitis C

Computer terminals will be available for use for activities such as employment searches. ODRC also plans to offer Transportation Assistance for those disabled by HIV/AIDS.

ODRC will also conduct bi-weekly conferences, called "An Open Hand," especially for those infected by HIV/AIDS. More details on "An Open Hand" will be posted in the near future.
