Mission:

Open Door Resource Center, Inc. is an innovative 501(c)(3) organization that is committed to serving those who have served our country in the armed forces, those currently serving, and their families. We assist our clients with meeting their holistic needs, including healthcare, education, Department of Veterans Affairs benefits, housing, and self-sufficiency.

Confidentiality: We value keeping all clients' information confidential. We do not share information with third parties or outside organizations.
Open Communication: Our open door policy allows clients to trust us and have open communication. We are always available to discuss any questions or concerns.
Quality: We provide quality service to all clients with respect and professionalism. All clients will receive satisfactory service from Open Door staff. We strive to incorporate modern quality control measures in all services and activities.

1. All veterans deserve the opportunity to achieve economic self-sufficiency and health relationships.
2. Veterans have a right to adequate food, clothing, housing, education and opportunities available in society.
Vision:
Every Veteran, and active duty members should be able to obtains necessary services available. We take pride serving as a catalyst in obtaining all benefits available for those serving the United States in the armed forces.

Why Veterans? 
Open Door resource Center, Inc. serves veterans because:
  • 45 percent of veteran suffer from mental illness.
  • The unemployment rate of veteran is 3 percent higher that the rest of the population.
  • One third of the adult homeless populations are veterans.
  • There are more than 5.5 million U.S. veterans living with a disability.
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is the leading cause of homelessness and unemployment in veterans.
  • Up to 11 percent of homeless veterans are females.
  • Roughly 56 percent of all homeless veterans are African American or Hispanic, despite only accounting for 12.8 to 15 percent of the U.S. population.
